How is SLS rapid prototyping ?
Selective laser sintering (SLS), also known as selective laser sintering the powder material, laser sintering or powder sintering. That is, the material on the surface of the powder pavers already molded parts and evenness, and then use high-intensity laser on a new layer just scan the parts shop section; material powder under high-intensity laser irradiation are sintered together, give a cross section of parts, and the shaped portion is connected to the following; when a layer cross-section after sintering, covered with a new layer of powder material, sintering the lower layer is selectively cross-section. SLS technology principle is to form a three-dimensional solid by an infrared laser beam material is heated thermoplastic powder sintering. By laser beam thin layers of powder material is sintered piled repetitive. With the sintered powder material superimposed layers, forming a pre-set final desired size and shape.
